Here are the stories:

The Wisconsin Badgers were unable to stave off a
red-hot Michigan State team, falling to the Spartans 83-72 in yesterday's Big
Ten semifinal game. Frank Kaminsky led the Badgers with 28 points, while Sam
Dekker and Ben Brust each scored 11 points. With the win, the Spartans advance
to today's tournament championship against
Michigan.

-----

The Green Bay Packers have signed eight-time Pro
Bowl defensive end Julius Peppers. Considered one of the league's best
pass-rushers, the Packers signed the former Chicago Bear to a three-year
contract worth 30-million dollars. Peppers says he signed with the Packers
because he felt the team had the best chance to win the Super Bowl. The
34-year-old former first-round pick recorded 31 solo tackles, 7 sacks, two
forced fumbles and a defensive touchdown for the Bears last
season.

-----

The Wisconsin Badgers women's hockey team is headed
back to the Frozen Four. Goals from Blayre Turnbull and Katy Josephs was enough
to skate past Harvard last night and into the national semifinals. Senior
goaltender Alex Rigsby recorded her 100th career victory, blocking 23 shots in
the win. The Badgers will face top-ranked Minnesota on Friday, while Mercyhurst
and Clarkson will face-off in the second semifinal
game.
