It was a big Saturday for Powerball players in Wisconsin, with four high-dollar winning tickets sold in the December 20 drawing. Three $50,000 tickets and one $150,000 ticket were purchased across the state.
The $50,000 winning tickets were sold at Sendik’s in Elm Grove, a Kwik Trip in Madison, and a Citgo in Hartford. The $150,000 ticket was sold at a Kwik Trip in Janesville, where the Power Play feature tripled the prize. All four tickets matched four of five numbers and the Powerball.
Statewide, nearly 87,000 Wisconsin tickets won prizes in Saturday’s drawing. The Powerball jackpot for tonight’s drawing is estimated at $1.6 billion — the fourth-largest in Powerball history — and marks a record 46th drawing in the current jackpot run.
Powerball drawings are held Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday nights.
