Wisconsin deer hunters, mark your calendars!
The Wisconsin Natural Resources Board has approved the 2026 deer harvest quotas and season framework. Beginning Monday, Aug. 17 at 10 a.m., more than 272,000 bonus antlerless harvest authorizations will be available for purchase across the state.
Bonus antlerless tags will be offered in every deer management unit except DMU 116, with permit availability based on local deer population goals. Sales will begin by management zone during the first three days, with any remaining permits available statewide starting Thursday, Aug. 20.
Hunters can purchase bonus permits through the Go Wild licensing system or at participating license sales locations.
