A Rusk County man has been sentenced to four years in prison for a shooting in May of last year. The victim told police the two were arguing when 23-year-old Kyle Baker pulled out a gun. He said he tried to grab it, but Baker stepped back and shot him in the stomach. The shooting happened in a home on Eau Claire’s north side which is in Chippewa County. Baker entered a no-contest plea to a charge of recklessly endangering safety. The victim’s name hasn’t been released, but he survived his injuries.
