Michael James Eggen, 39 years of age, from Onalaska has been arrested by the Wisconsin State
Patrol DeForest Post for operating a motor vehicle under the influence, 6th offense.
A trooper stopped a vehicle for deviation from designated lane and speed. During the initial
investigation, a K9 was requested. A LaCrosse police officer arrived on scene with his K9 partner.
The K9 had a positive alert on the vehicle. The driver, identified as 39-year-old Michael Eggen of
Onalaska, was found to show signs of impairment. After performing Standardized Field Sobriety
Tests, Eggen was arrested for operating while under the influence 6th offense.
An evidentiary blood draw was completed, and Eggen was booked into the LaCrosse County Jail.
Charges include 6th offense operating while under the influence and deviation from designated
lane.
