As the holiday season approaches, the Something Special from Wisconsin program is encouraging shoppers to “Savor the Season” by buying local.
The program’s red and yellow logo makes it easy to spot products made or produced right here in Wisconsin. Nearly 500 local businesses are part of the program, offering everything from cheese and sweets to candles, sauces, and holiday gifts.
78th Alice in Dairyland, Sarah Hagenow, is highlighting 36 Wisconsin businesses in her holiday campaign through TV and radio interviews, social media, and local news features now through December 12th.
She says it’s a great way to showcase unique products and support Wisconsin communities during the holidays.
