One person was injured after a car hit a semi on Highway 93 in Arcadia Tuesday afternoon. The Trempealeau County Sheriff’s Office reports that 25-year-old Gustavo Escamilla of Alma Center was travelling North on the highway when he dozed off and struck something shortly before 2:00 pm. It is reported that he had crossed the centerline of the highway and struck the semi, travelling southbound on the driver’s side. Escamilla was transported by ambulance to the hospital for his injuries. The driver and passenger of the semi, both from Washington were uninjured. The crash remains under investigation by the Trempealeau County Sheriff’s Office.
