American Red Cross Heroes Breakfast

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (Feb. 8, 2024) – At the American Red Cross, we see firsthand the
remarkable deeds of everyday heroes. Their stories inspire and remind us to never doubt the
impact an individual can make in the lives of others.
The Northwest Wisconsin Chapter of the Red Cross will once again honor individuals and
groups who are making an impact through their bravery, dedication and humanitarian service.
The Northwest Wisconsin Heroes Breakfast, will take place on Thursday, March 14, 2024, at
7:45 a.m. at the Florian Gardens Conference Center, 2340 Lorch Ave., Eau Claire.
“The 20 th annual Northwest Wisconsin Heroes Breakfast is a true testament to the impact area
residents can have on our community through the decades,” said MJ Thomsen, Executive
Director of the Northwest Chapter. “This celebration of community generosity and
humanitarianism grew out of a desire to commend area residents who exemplify the Red Cross
mission – which is to prevent and alleviate human suffering.”
The heroes breakfast also serves as the annual fundraising event to support programs and
services provided by the Northwest Wisconsin Chapter of the Red Cross.
Chosen across a handful of categories, honorees are selected based on the degree to which
their actions uphold the values of the Red Cross humanitarian mission and leave a lasting and
positive impact on our communities.
