The Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development is now accepting applications for the 2025 Vets Ready Employer Awards. This annual program honors businesses that go above and beyond in hiring, retaining, and supporting veterans. Employers recognized as Vets Ready receive gold or silver certificates and are promoted to veteran job seekers and community partners.
DWD Secretary Amy Pechacek says the award is a way to spotlight companies that value the skills veterans bring to the workforce. Applications are open through Friday, July 18th.
