Over 300 people in Jackson County travelled through the weather yesterday to get vaccinated for COVID-19 at Jackson Electric Cooperative. Jackson Electric has partnered with area health organizations to be the site in Jackson County for individuals to receive their COVID-19 vaccination. The COVID-19 vaccination clinics at Jackson Electric will be held each Thursday in February and March.

Clark County announced they’ll be having another drive-through vaccination clinic on Thursday, February 11th at the Greenwood Area Fire and EMS District. Appointments are required, and vaccines are available for individuals in Phase 1A, and select individuals in Phase 1B, which are Fire and Police workers and people over the age of 65.

If you have any questions regarding the COVID-19 vaccine, or if you’d like to set up an appointment to receive one, you can contact your local health department.
