A-T-V trails will be getting a million dollars of new funding from the state under a budget plan at the Joint Finance Committee. The plan is to increase state spending on trails by a million dollars. Forestry administrators say the burst of funding is important because a rise in A-T-V tourism has increased trail usage. Most of the trails are on public or shared land, so the local governments are already spending money to maintain those trails.
