Black River Falls City Council to Hold Public Hearing on Sex Offender Residency Ordinance

The City of Black River Falls Common Council is inviting public input on a proposed ordinance that would set residency restrictions for registered sex offenders. A public hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall, 101 South Second Street.

The proposed ordinance aims to address public safety by limiting where certain registered offenders can live within the city. Residents, businesses, and local organizations are encouraged to share their views.

Those unable to attend in person can submit written comments by email to city.admin@blackriverfallswi.gov or by mail to City Hall.
