Special Meeting Notice – February 13, 2024
The Board of Education of the School District of Black River Falls will hold a special
meeting at the School District Office Board Room located at 301 North Fourth Street at
5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 21, 2024.

- Consideration of adjourning to closed session under §§ 19.85(1)(a) and
19.85(1)(f) of Wisconsin Statutes. Sections 19.85(1)(a) and (1)(f) allow a
meeting to be closed to the public when a government body is going to deliberate
concerning a case which was the subject of any judicial or quasi-judicial trial or
hearing before that governmental body, or where the governmental body
considers financial, medical, social or personal histories or disciplinary data of
specific persons, preliminary consideration of specific personnel problems or the
investigation of charges against specific persons except where § 19.85(b) applies,
which, if discussed in public would be likely to have a substantial adverse effect
upon the reputation of any person referred to in such histories or data or involved
in such problems or investigations. - The purpose of the closed meeting is to conduct an expulsion hearing in
accordance with § 120.13(1)(c) of the Wisconsin Statutes and to review and
discuss pupil records, as defined in § 118.125 of the Wisconsin Statutes. - Adjourn.
