Bob “Gabby” Gabrielson

Bob “Gabby” Gabrielson. Vice President, Marketing Representative and Host of Bluegrass Sunday. Lifelong resident of Black River Falls, graduated from Black River Falls Senior High School and received an Associates Degree from Mount Senario College. While serving on active duty with the Wisconsin Army National Guard, he started his association with WWIS Radio announcing sporting events for the station.
After his retirement from the Guard, joined the WWIS Staff full time serving as a Marketing Representative and on-air host. In 2005 he accepted the position of General Manager of the station and served in that capacity until 2017. At that time, he retired as manager and continues to work for the station in a part time status, allowing him time to travel and spend more time with family. But, he still considers listeners of WWIS as part of his family and thus continues to “hang around” enjoying every
opportunity he gets to chat with those loyal to WWIS.
