The streets of Black River Falls are officially open to ATV and UTV drivers. City of Black River Falls Administrator Brad Chown says that all signs have been posted, designating where they can operate. Riders are required to operate in single file, must be 16 years or older and possess a valid driver’s license, insurance is required, and are prohibited from having any form of open alcoholic beverages. Violators are subject to fines no less than $100 and no more than $250. The hours of operation are from 8:00 am – 9:00 pm. The BRF Common Council passed the ordinance allowing ATV/UTV use on City streets during their monthly meeting in August.
