The Black River Falls Common Council will be meeting on Tuesday for their monthly meeting. The meeting will be at City Hall at 6:00 in the evening. Items on the agenda include committee reports, approving expenses to repair the Main Street Bridge, applications for renewal of liquor licenses operators, and applications for beer and wine licenses for the Lions Club’s Festival in the Park and the BRF Youth Hockey Association’s Kickball Tournament. A first reading of an ordinance to repeal and recreate a section of Ordinance 863 is also on the agenda. Ordinance 863 relates to the sale of alcoholic beverages for consumption off site. The Wisconsin State Senate passed a bill back in March that allows bars and restaurants to sell cocktails to go. At the meeting, they’ll also be discussing and possibly taking action on the proposed use of ATV/UTV’s within the Business District downtown.
