A Black River Falls man is in custody after a high-speed chase that started in Brockway Tuesday night (2/2). It all started around 8:00 when the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call in Brockway of a suspicious vehicle that had chased a man in front of his residence. Deputies located the black Chevy truck leaving the area, and the chase began. The chase went through downtown BRF, where the truck struck an unmarked squad car and continued fleeing, then struck another squad car, causing severe damage. As the chase continued, the Wisconsin State Patrol was able to use a tire deflation device to finally get the vehicle to stop.
