Individuals in Trempealeau County are being asked by the health department to assist older residents get registered for their COVID-19 vaccination. The Trempealeau County Health Department reports that 21.7% of Trempealeau County residents have received their first dose of the vaccine, and 10.2% have been fully vaccinated. Currently, anyone 65 years or older is eligible for the vaccine, and health departments are trying to ensure that everyone 65 years or older gets the vaccine if they want it. The Trempealeau County Aging and Disability Resource Center is available for assistance as well, at 715-538-2001.
