Christopher Craig Decorah, age 51 of Black River Falls WI, died Friday December 25, 2020 at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in La Crosse WI.

Chris was born November 13, 1969 in Tomah WI to Pierre and Mildred (Snowball) Decorah. After graduating from high school held a number of different jobs before becoming an excellent dealer at the Ho Chunk casino in Black River Falls. As a young man Chis enjoyed athletics and became very good as a volleyball player especially at the net because of his height. He liked anything having to do with Superman, he was a super fan. Chris was a life-long member of the Native American Church and loved attending the services there. He was an excellent cook, some might call him a chef, and he loved to prepare his specialty course, ‘Zuppa Toscana’. Chris fun loving laughter will always be missed. God bless our memories of Christopher Decorah.

Surviving Chris are his mother Mildred; his sons Christopher Craig Decorah Jr., Xander Decorah and Jaden Decorah; his daughter Tristine Decorah; 2 grandchildren; a brother Pierre Decorah Jr. and many friends and relatives.

Chris was preceded in death by his father Pierre Dacorah Sr.; his brothers Amory and Tyrone Decorah; and by his sister Linda Shegonee and Natalie Decorah.

A wake and visitation will begin Monday December 28, 2020 at 4:00PM at the Mission Community Center. The committal ceremony will begin Tuesday morning December 29, 2020 at 10:00 AM at the center, with Gabriel Falcon officiating. Burial will follow the service at the Decorah Cemetery.
