Authorities in Clark County are looking for a suspect involved in a home invasion early yesterday morning.
The Clark County Sheriff’s Office is reporting that the dispatch center received a call around 8:30 yesterday morning from a woman who lives on the 700 block of E. 4th Street in Owen.
The woman reported that while she was in bed earlier that morning around 1:30, an individual entered her residence and was going through dresser drawers. A struggle ensued, and at one point the woman reports that the suspect tried to suffocate her with a pillow.
The victim’s daughter heard the struggle and came into the bedroom, at which point the suspect fled the scene. The suspect is described as being 5’5” and has a thin build.
The investigation is ongoing. Anyone who lives on the 700 block of E. 4th Street is encouraged to reach out to the Clark County Sheriff’s Office if they saw anything suspicious that may help with the case.
