Corrine Amelia Hoff, age 91, died Thursday April 8, 2021 at American Lutheran Homes in Mondovi WI.
Corrine was born November 2, 1929 in Beaches Corner Wi to William and Ella (Sekse) Crivits. Corrine was a strong independent woman and a hard worker. She was a farmer’s wife working side by side her husband Gordon O. Hoff. She was old school when it came to hospitality, she wouldn’t sit still when guests were around or for that matter family, always catering to everyone, making them wonder if she was ever going to eat herself?
Corrine was humble, religious and good natured, and could be funloving and even silly with her family. She loved to cook and bake, cookies from scratch, bread and lefse. Corrine loved to dance and she loved her flower gardens. She will truly be missed.
Surviving Corrine are her children Robert Hoff of Strum, Doris (Daniel) Schuld of Galesville; her grandchildren Jeremy Schuld, Jonathan Schuld, Jason (Paige) Hoff and Alicia Hoff; her great grandchildren Kendell Hoff, Gauge Hoff and Shelby Amelia Schuld.
She was Preceded in death by her husband Gordon Odell Hoff and all of her siblings; Goethal, Stuart and Willard Crivits, Lucille Thompson, and Charlene Greenwald; and special friends LaVern Kitlinger and Claire ‘Bud’ Saxe.
Funeral services for Corrine will be Wednesday April 14, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Strum. Pastor Valerian Ahles will officiate. Burial will follow the service at the Northfield Lutheran Church Cemetery. Friends may call on the family during a visitation from 12-noon until the service begins at 1:00.
