Dara June Schneider, 84, of Black River Falls, WI, died peacefully under the care of St. Croix Hospice and Dove Healthcare Assisted Living in Osseo, WI, on December 24, 2025.
She was born June 15, 1941, to Edgar Lee and Jennie Irene (Mack) Stanclift. She was united in marriage to Jerome Edward Schneider on October 10, 1959, in Kingsford, MI.
Dara loved God, her family, music, and flowers. With the first of 5 children coming in 1960 and the last in 1970, she had a career of 30 years as a mother and homemaker. A couple of short-term jobs mixed in to help ends meet when needed.
She is survived by her children. Dawn (Sherwin) Flood, Andrew (Cindy) Schneider, James (Sharla) Schneider, Peggy (John) Yule, and Peter (Robin) Schneider. She was also blessed with 12 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
A memorial service for Dara will be held on May 3rd, 2026, at Torgerson’s Funeral Home located at 408 N. Water Street, Black River Falls, WI 54615. Visitation begins at 9:30am with a service at 10:30am. A noon meal will be held at the Lower Shelter at the Lunda Community Park. Interment will be later in the afternoon in the Sullivan Cemetery located at 747Q+56 just south of Black River Falls.
