A Disaster Declaration has been signed by Black River Falls Mayor Jay Eddy. The Declaration was signed due to the severe thunderstorms that struck on Wednesday night. The City is requesting County assistance, and asks that the county advise the state on the current conditions in the city. Along with that, the City of Black River Falls has currently temporarily lifted its ban on dumping brush behind the fairgrounds this week. City residents that have the means will be able to dump brush no larger than 6” in diameter and no longer than 6 feet. Brush can be hauled to 401 County Road R, and it was advised by City Administrator Brad Chown that this is only for City of Black River Falls residents.
