Now Accepting Applications Through April 30

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is now accepting applications for its E-Cycle Wisconsin Electronics Collection Grant. The grants support events or sites that collect unwanted electronics between June 2025 and December 2026. The application deadline is 5 p.m. on Wednesday, April 30.

E-Cycle Wisconsin is a DNR-managed, manufacturer-funded program created in 2010 to keep electronics out of landfills. Since then, over 420 million pounds of electronics have been recycled through the program.

Up to $250,000 will be awarded in this round, with a $5,000 cap for collection events and $15,000 for permanent sites. The DNR will prioritize underserved counties without permanent sites, including Jackson, Price, Crawford, and several others.

Since 2022, over $260,000 in grants have helped fund 5 permanent sites and 53 collection events statewide. The DNR says the grants have significantly expanded recycling access in rural areas.

Details and application information are available on the DNR’s E-Cycle Wisconsin webpage.
