The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is reminding eligible disabled hunters that want to participate in the 2022 gun deer hunt for hunters with disabilities to contact and confirm their hunting location with a sponsor by September 1st. Nearly 70,000 acres across 40 counties are eligible for this year’s hunt taking place October 1st – 9th. The DNR has offered the dedicated gun deer hunt for hunters with disabilities since 1992.
