The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources says most of the state is facing high fire danger right now. People are being urged to use caution in the northern two-thirds of Wisconsin. The line across the state from west to east runs from south of La Crosse to south of Sheboygan. Everything south of that invisible line is in moderate fire danger. Before burning you must have a written and signed burn permit.
