Technology plays a bigger and bigger role in modern farms. The very latest information and equipment will be on display next month when Wisconsin Farm Technology Days are held at the Roehl Acres farm in Clark County. The farm’s new milking barn uses a system of robots to automatically milk and feed cows. Owner Dennis Roehl says the state-of-the-art machinery not only saves time, but it is also more energy-efficient. He says that efficiency will save his family farm 50-thousand dollars in a year. Farm Technology Days on the farm near Loyal will run July 12th through the 14th.
