FEMA Assistance Available for Jackson County Residents Affected by April Storms

FEMA is in Wisconsin to help homeowners and renters in Jackson County who were
affected by the severe storms that occurred between April 13–23, 2026.

Homeowners and renters can apply for federal disaster assistance by:

Information You’ll Need When Applying
 Contact information (phone number, current mailing address, email address, and
damaged home address)
 Social Security number
 A general list of damages and losses
 Annual household income
 Banking information (if requesting direct deposit)
 Insurance information, including your policy number or your insurance agent
and/or company name
Application Deadline
The deadline to apply for FEMA Individual Assistance is August 31, 2026.
