Governor Tony Evers has authorized Jackson County and its municipalities to lower the U.S. and Wisconsin state flags to half-staff on Saturday, June 7, 2025, from sunrise to sunset. This act honors Retired Firefighter and EMT Donald Pomeroy of the Black River Falls Fire Department and EMS for his dedicated service.
