Tax breaks will be smaller for the scaled-back project by Foxconn Technology Group going up near Mount Pleasant. The largest electronics maker in the world announced the new agreement with Governor Tony Evers Monday. There won’t be $4 billion in state and local tax incentives. The agreement is expected to be approved at a meeting today (Tuesday) of the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation. The original agreement with the Taiwan-based company called for billions in tax breaks and promised up to 13,000 jobs for southeastern Wisconsin. Reality will be much smaller. Details of the deal haven’t been released.
