Consumers may experience some sticker shock when they go shopping for fireworks for the Fourth of July. Retailers say you should expect less of a bang for your buck. The owners of Savior Fireworks in Verona tell W-I-S-C/T-V prices went up during the pandemic and they jumped another 20-to-40 percent this year. Officials with Phantom Fireworks say shipping costs for fireworks made overseas have, well, skyrocketed. C-E-O Bruce Zoldan told C-B-S News his company paid about 11-thousand dollars for a container of fireworks in 2019. This year, the company is paying closer to 40-thousand for the same container.
