Governor Tony Evers announced today that the National Guard administered their one millionth COVID-19 test this week. In a press release from the Governor’s Office, it was said that the millionth test represents a significant milestone in the effort of offering regular, widespread testing statewide. The Wisconsin National Guard has been doing weekly testing across the state since April of 2020. Nearly 700 Citizen Soldiers and Airmen from the National Guard are serving in direct support of the state’s on-going response to COVID-19.
