One million people in Wisconsin have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Governor Tony Evers and the DHS made the announcement this afternoon. Wisconsin has ranked among the top in the nation for the number of doses administered per 100,000 people. It’s reported that 1 in 2 Wisconsinites aged 65 and older have been fully vaccinated, and nearly 3 out of 4 people 65 or older have received the first dose. Since the vaccine first arrived in mid-December, over 2.7 million doses have been given out across the state.
