Any Wisconsin resident 16 or older will be eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine starting Monday, April 5th. Governor Tony Evers and the Wisconsin DHS made the announcement earlier today (Tuesday). Currently, Wisconsin leads the nation in being one of the most efficient vaccinators. They say the increased vaccine supply and faster vaccination pace in recent weeks has allowed the state to push the eligibility date up four weeks earlier than expected. The DHS also said that this may vary in different parts of the state, as some areas have a higher demand for vaccinations and some have waitlists.
