Governor Tony Evers says 100-million dollars in federal COVID relief funding will be used to expand broadband across Wisconsin. The Public Service Commission will be awarding grants for expanding high-speed internet in two weeks. The governor is also urging the legislature to passed his Badger Bounceback agenda which includes another 200 million dollars for broadband access and provide financial assistance to low-income home struggling to pay internet bills.
