Governor Evers, DOA Announce $1.3 Million in Grants for Wisconsin Coastal Communities

Governor Tony Evers and the Wisconsin Department of Administration are awarding one-point-three million dollars in grants to support coastal communities and protect Wisconsin’s Great Lakes resources.

The funding includes 27 grants for local and tribal governments, universities, regional planning groups, and nonprofit organizations. Together, the projects represent more than three-point-two million dollars in coastal investments.

The grants will support projects involving public access, habitat restoration, pollution control, sustainable development, and Great Lakes education.

Applications are now open for the next round of grants, with a November third deadline.
