Governor Tony Evers announced today that he’s accepting applications for the position of District Attorney in Jackson County. Current Jackson County DA Dan Diehn will be resigning on July 16th, after he was elected to the position of Judge for Jackson County’s 2nd Branch of the Wisconsin Circuit Court. The new DA will serve out the remainder of Diehn’s term, which lasts until January of 2025. Applications can be found online at evers.wi.gov, and can be e-mailed to govDAapp@wisconsin.gov. Applications are due by Friday, May 21st.
