A Jackson County Judge granted a motion to dismiss a lawsuit filed against the Ho-Chunk Nation by Ovation Food Services. Ovation Food Services, under control of Spectra filed the lawsuit saying that the Ho-Chunk Nation violated an agreement when the Ho-Chunk Nation cancelled the food delivery contract in 2020. The ruling to dismiss was issued earlier today. The case was dismissed without prejudice, which means that it can be re-filed in the Ho-Chunk Nation trial court.
