A Jackson County man was arrested yesterday afternoon after an attempted homicide. The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office reports that a 911 call came in around 12:30 yesterday afternoon from a female who reported that her husband had shot a gun at her when she was leaving their residence at W7943 Fire Tower Road in the Town of Manchester.
Deputies later learned that the suspect, 36-year-old Johnathan Heller was still at the residence with the couple’s 2-year-old child. Once on scene, deputies were able to take Heller in without incident, and he was arrested on charges of first-degree attempted reckless homicide, first-degree recklessly endangering safety, and intentionally discharging a firearm into a vehicle.
The incident is still under investigation by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department and the Wisconsin State Patrol.
