James Allen “Popeye” Larson, age 51, died at home Sunday December 13, 2020.
James was born November 12, 1969 in Black River Falls to Stephen and Lani (Arnold) Larson.
Jim graduated from high school and went on to get his associate degree. Jim was an industrious and hard worker who developed a keen eye in his trade work building furniture for Ashley Furniture. Jim never married but loved spending time with his nephews. He enjoyed professional wrestling; was a real Packer fanatic, but mostly he loved loud, hard, Rock’n’Roll, the harder the Rock the better. He would go to concerts whenever he got the chance and attended ‘Rock-Fest’ every year. Jim had a passion for collecting anything that had to do with Eagles or Wolves. AND Jim was a practical jokester always asking some newly found friend to please watch his drink, after he had inconspicuously slipped his false glass eye (Popeye) into the cup amidst the ice-cubes. Jim and his sense of humor will dearly be missed.
Surviving Jim are his mother Lani Bailey; his step-mom Diane Larson; his grandpa Ronald Walter; his brothers Chris Bailey and Daniel (Jackie) Larson; his sisters Audra (Dave) Moline, Tanya (Broc) Thompson and Tiffany Larson; his nephews T.J. Bakalars, Brady Bakalars and Will Moline; his uncle Mike Larson and aunt Laurie Sprecher and numerous cousins.
Jim was preceded in death by his dad Stephen Larson and step-dad Stephen Bailey.
