A new program is coming to Jackson County later this month to teach caregivers how to better care for themselves and their families. The Jackson County Department of Health and Human services is partnering with the University of Wisconsin – Madison Division of Extension and Interfaith Volunteer Caregivers of Jackson County to bring the program titled “Powerful Tools for Caregivers”. It will be a virtual workshop for adults of all ages and will meet for six Tuesdays starting February 16th. Each workshop will be an hour and a half in length and all be done virtually over Zoom. There’s no cost, but preregistration is required. You can register by calling the Interfaith Volunteer Caregivers office at 715-284-7058. Registration ends on February 8th. You can find out more about the workshops by visiting powerfultoolsforcaregivers.org
