Jerry A. Hagen, age 81, of Whitehall, died on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 in the Tomah VA Medical Center in Tomah.
Jerry was born on May 6, 1940 in Whitehall to Milford and Mary (Smart) Hagen. He graduated from the Whitehall High School and enlisted in the United States Army in 1958. He was stationed in Korea until 1960. Jerry was honorably discharged in 1964.
Jerry was especially fond of all sports, his hunting trips and television.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Janet (Dale) Hagen of Whitehall; a son, Daniel (Karyn) Hagen of Emanclaw, WA; a daughter, Bobbi Johnson Karteway of Ligioner, IN; four grandchildren, Randy (Kacey), Berent (Vania) and Terek Hagen and Breane Lyga; three great-grandchildren, Olivia, Jaxon and Hayes Hagen; a brother, Charles (Carol) Hagen of Arkansas; three sisters-in-law, Sharon (Merton) Haugen of Whitehall, Sarah Dale of DePere and Gloria Dale of Ettrick; a brother-in-law, Wayne (Valerie) Dale of Tennessee and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by in death by his father and mother-in-law, Myron and Virginia Dale and two brothers-in-law, David and Gerry Dale.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 3, 2021 from 3-5 p.m. in the Jack Funeral Home in Whitehall. Burial will be in the North Beaver Creek First Lutheran Cemetery in rural Ettrick at a later date.
