Joe Rivers, 82, of Sparta, passed away August 10, 2026, at Brookdale Assisted Senior Living, in La Crosse, after a short illness.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, September 10, 2026 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Sparta, with Father Eric Berns officiating. Full Military Honors will be provided by American Legion Post 100 and VFW Post 2112, both of Sparta, following the service. A luncheon will follow at the church.
