Kenneth Roy Anderson passed away in his sleep on February 12, 2022, one day shy of his 70th birthday.

He was born in Whitehall, WI on February 13, 1952 to Roy Tilman and Lillian Alfreda (Franson) Anderson. He became sick with meningitis as an infant and was disabled for the rest of his life due to the effects of the illness.

He was cared for by his family at home until Lillian was no longer able to do so. He moved to Northern Colony at the age of 14. Later, he moved to a couple of group homes eventually moving to the perfect home for him under the care of George and Stacey Weimer outside of Boyceville, WI. He lived there until his passing. Kenny enjoyed drinking coffee, eating M&Ms, pulling strings out any cloth he got his hands on, and flashing his teasing grin.

Kenny is survived by his sister Lorraine Christianson, brother and sister-in-law Charlie and Gayle, sister-in-law Doris Anderson and sister-in-law Lavina Anderson. He was preceded in death by his parents Roy and Lillian, sister and brother-in-law Yvonne and Ed Monson, brother Rodney, brother Dean, brother and sister-in-law Donald and Sue, brother Orlyn and brother-in-law Floyd Christianson.

The family would like to thank George and Stacey Weimer and the staff at Lamb’s Creek Adult Family Home for their loving care of Kenny, as well as the care provided by Dr. Deyo-Svendsen at Mayo Clinic in Menomonie, WI.

A memorial service for Kenny will be at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, April 23, 2022 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Strum, with Pastor Paul Tobiason officiating. Family and friends may gather for a visitation one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will take place following the service at West Beef River Cemetery following the service.
The Schiefelbein Funeral Home in Osseo has been entrusted with the final arrangements.
