Kevin Michael Bergerson, age 55 of La Verne, California passed away on Thursday, December 2, 2021, at his home surrounded by his loving family and friends. He was born on October 14, 1966, in Kenosha, Wisconsin, to Michael and Charlene (Solberg) Bergerson. He married Heather McMillan on May 14, 2005, in San Dimas California.

He attended Black River Falls High School for three years, then moved to California and graduated from Northview High School in June 1985. Kevin was a heavy equipment operator at Vulcan Materials in Southern California for 30 years. He was an avid fan and stockholder of the Green Bay Packers, with a “man cave” full of Packers memorabilia. Kevin visited his family and friends in Wisconsin frequently and loved riding ATV’s and playing cards. He also loved to travel with his wife and daughter and visited several different countries, in addition to taking cruises to different parts of the world. He loved to watch his daughter play soccer and karate and help her with her schoolwork.

Kevin is survived by his wife Heather (McMillan), daughter Saige, parents Michael and Charlene (Solberg) Bergerson, sister Irene (Mike) Vickers, nephews Nathan, Dylan, Ryan, and Matthew, sister Denise Thomas, nephews Joshua and Hunter. Many uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Funeral services for Kevin will be held Saturday, December 18, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at New Hope Community Church on Dettinger Rd off Hwy 121 in Northfield, officiated by Pastor Dale Klevgard. Burial will follow at the Upper Pigeon Creek Cemetery. Friends and family are invited for visitation on Friday, December 17, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Jensen-Modjeski Funeral Home in Hixton and from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at the church on Saturday. The family would like to request that everyone in attendance wear something to do with Packers. Even if that is not your team in remembrance of Kevin we ask that you do. If needed you may borrow from someone, or the family will have extra Packer T-shirts at the church for you to borrow.

Kevin was a “human calculator” who could do math in his head faster than people could get answers on a calculator. Kevin was a kind, funny guy with a giant heart who had an open-door policy at his home, everyone was welcome. Leave it to Kevin to pass on a numerically memorable date 12-02-2021.

The Jensen-Modjeski Funeral Home of Hixton (715-963-2311) is assisting the family with arrangements. On-line condolences are available at http://www.jensenmodjeskifh.com.
