Henu’s early years were spent in Tomah, Black Rivers Falls and Wisconsin Dells. She worked for the Ho-Chunk Nation in Food and Beverage, spent time as a laborer and always provided childcare for her family and friends. Laleen enjoyed the years she spent living in Las Vegas. Laleen was a free-spirited soul, adventurous, and always excited for her next move.
Lala loved her family and especially her siblings and their children. She also loved to travel and made friends and new relations everywhere she went. Laleen had an infectious laugh, she would be laughing on her own until we joined in. The love, companionship, and friendship that she offered gave us all so much joy. She enjoyed food, laughing, movies, music, powwows, spending time with family and friends, and celebrating her birthday,
She is survived by her parents, John and Barb, brothers Dakota (Tessa), Jones Jr. (Alex), Skyler, Darius (Anna), Gordon, David, and sisters Darlyn, Bianca, Destiny, Maycee and Winnie, paternal grandmother Cynthia Yellowcloud, nani Francina, nani Jojo, a special friend and numerous other siblings, relatives, and friends, too many to name here.
