Leslie Merle Herreid, age 74, of rural Ettrick, died on Monday, June 27, 2022 in the Gundersen Health System in LaCrosse.
Leslie was born on March 18, 1948 to Stanley and Marva (Affeldt) Herreid. He married Barbara Brindle on December 29, 1995 in Whitehall.
Leslie owned and operated Herreid Auto Body in rural Ettrick for many years. He enjoyed people and working on cars.
Leslie is survived by his wife, Barbara; a sister, Martha (John) Hovre of Galesville; a nephew, Richard (Charity) Hovre of Rice, MN and a niece, Tianna Johnson of Galesville.
Memorial services will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the North Beaver Creek First Lutheran Church in rural Ettrick. Pastor Adam Arends will officiate. Burial will be in Saint Bridget’s Catholic Cemetery in Ettrick.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
The Jack Funeral Home in Blair is assisting the family with arrangements.
