Linda E. Sobotta

Linda E. Sobotta, 70, of Arcadia died on Wednesday, February 11, 2026,
at Grandview Care Center in Blair after a hard-fought battle with
Parkinson’s.
Linda was born in Arcadia on May 7, 1955, to LaVerne “Susie” and Irene
Joan (Lee) Sobotta. She graduated from Arcadia High School and was
employed in the shipping department at Watlow Electric
Manufacturing Company in Winona. In her younger years, Linda
enjoyed snowmobiling and boating. She loved to play pool and shot on
a league with teammates from Long Branch Saloon in Dodge. Linda was
an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers and the Milwaukee Brewers. She
was a lifetime member of Holy Family Parish and her faith was always
important to her.
Linda is survived by her brothers: Pat Sobotta and Jim (Susan) Sobotta;
sister-in-law: Jean Sobotta; special cousin and best friend: Maureen
Kay; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Bob Sobotta and
Charles in infancy; and aunts and uncles.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, February 17,
2026, at Holy Family Parish with Father Kyle Laylan officiating. Family
and friends are welcome for visitation from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM on
Monday, February 16, 2026, at the Wozney-Killian Funeral Home,
Arcadia, where there will be a Public Rosary recited at 6:00 PM, and
also from 10 AM until the time of procession to Mass on Tuesday.
