Milo David Abbott, 74, of Sparta, could no longer fight his courageous battle with cancer and died peacefully at home May 22, 2022, surrounded by his loving family.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at Lanham-Schanhofer Funeral Home and Cremation, Sparta. Burial, with full military honors provided by VFW Post 2112 and American Legion Post 100 of Sparta, will be at Cataract Cemetery.
A visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials in Milo’s name may be given to SACS or a charity of your choice. Online condolences may be offered at http://www.schanhoferfh.com
