Milwaukee Police Association to File Lawsuit Over Officer Service Weapons

(Milwaukee, WI)  —  The Milwaukee Police Association says it will file a lawsuit against the city over the service weapons officers carry.  The union says those guns fire on their own.  An officer was wounded Saturday night in the latest incident.  Association President Andrew Wagner says the weapons need to be replaced.  W-I-S-N/T-V reports the latest model – a Sig Sauer P-320 – is said to be safer than the 2019 models officers are issued now.
